Located in Muar, a city rich in history and royal heritage, Chao Li Coffin Shop is next to Hua Nam Hotel. This traditional shop, founded by the family’s grandfather in the 1920s, has been passed down through three generations and has a history of over 90 years.
For generations, Chinese coffins have followed the traditional plum blossom design. Since its establishment, Chao Li Coffin Shop has preserved the craft of making these nostalgic coffins. Mr. Ng, the current owner, started working in the family business 40 years ago alongside his father and grandfather.
