Finance Manager @ Finance (Petaling Jaya)

Responsibilities & Duties

Financial Reporting
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements for the Group and individual subsidiaries.
- Ensure accurate information and compliance with accounting and tax standards and regulatory requirements including compliance with Transfer Pricing requirement.
- Prepare reports for internal stakeholders and external parties, such as auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.

Cash Flow Management
- Monitor and control accounts receivables (AR) and accounts payables (AP), ensuring adequate liquidity to meet operational requirements.
- Manage and provide recommendations to mitigate cash flow risks, including forecasting future cash needs and optimizing working capital.
- Maintaining relationships with banks and other financial institutions.

Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and manage the financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budgets, identifying areas of concern, and recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with different departments to develop forecasts and improvement initiatives including revenue growth and cost control initiatives.

Internal Controls and Process Improvement
- Implement internal controls to safeguard the company’s interest and ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Continuous improvement of internal controls and procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes within the organization.
Team Leadership and Development
- Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, and coaching to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and learning within the department.
